SYMPOSIUM "The dream as a pillar of comprehensive health"
Yesterday we celebrated the colloquium Sleep as a pillar of comprehensive health at Derby Hotels Collection.
It was a conversation with Judit Mascó, Santi Millán, Álex Corretja, Martina Klein and Paula Martí about curiosities of sleep medicine.
We talk about chronotypes and Santi confessed to being nocturnal and Judit daytime.
We talked about how the dream changed when the children arrived, and Martina and Álex shared their experiences about how their sleep improved when they decided to apply sleep routines to their little girl.
We learned the best postures, or rather, the most recommended for sleeping.
We explain what happens during our sleep, its phases and how important each phase is. In their cases, the importance of the nap, which should be 20 minutes maximum. Or an hour and a half to complete the three phases of sleep and the nap becomes a complement to night sleep.
We argue about the life we lead, which pushes us to get little rest. But we all agreed to defend that sleep cool and that the importance of sleep must be disclosed.
